Tin Roof Barn | Mexican Italian Wedding
Tin roof Barn is an absolutely stunning wedding venue in the Gorge right outside of Portland, Oregon. This is one of those weddings where we don’t even know where to begin. We met Manny & Caroline back in January. Before we knew it, we were going hiking together, going on double dates and spending lots of fun nights hanging out! I think we knew that when it came to the wedding day, it wasn’t going to be like any other wedding we’ve ever photographed.
Don’t get me wrong, we absolutely love all of our couples, but these two are some of our greatest friends now. Being hispanic myself, I absolutely loved that they wanted to include all the Mexican traditions into their day. They had traditional Mexican food and a mariachi band to bring everyone together! These sweet photos from their day really tell it all.
Here is a list of the amazing vendors we got to work with:
Design & Planning: Kamea Events
Coordination: Union Event Co
Florals: Molly Ryan Floral
A few words from Caroline about her experience with us:
“The lifelong memories that Deus Amor provided us is truly priceless, as is their friendship. You will want to use this team for any and all photography needs you have. Choosing Deus Amor was the easiest and best choice we made for our wedding. I had screened countless photographers past my husband and our best man, a photographer, to no avail. Fortunately our planner, Kamea Events, connected us with them. My husband and our best man gave instant approval, and Lord am I grateful that they did. They captured our slightly chaotic, Mexican-Italian, non-traditional, outdoor Catholic wedding with more style and grace than I could have ever imagined. The Deus team of Catherine and Jonathan provided us two perspectives that were truly essential.
This tag team was able to capture the same shot from two different angles while each individual brought their authentic selves to serve us, the latter being the irreplaceable. This type of authenticity is one of those intangible things you seek in vendors, artists, and friends. Catherine and Jonathan guided us through this whole wedding process, that my husband and I reluctantly entered, from start to finish. Deus made a point of connecting with us prior to the wedding — giving us much needed wedding day advice, inquiring about our friends and families, and developing a real friendship with us. Their goal to treat us as family and not as clients genuinely shows in the photos we received.
We had sneaks before we got to our newlywed suite, and the sharing of Deus Amor’s craft ensued. I cannot tell you how many friends and family members have gushed over Catherine and Jonathan’s work, as they should.”
